So, the passport people decided to be awesome and get my passport renewal back in time for my friend Colbie's wedding in Buffalo... Who needs a passport for Buffalo, you ask? Well, those of us who have never seen Niagara Falls from the Canada side and need to kill a day near Buffalo!
I had to request the stamp. The Canadian border guy gave me an inquisitive look and probably rolled his eyes as I walked away, but he stamped my virgin passport I walked into Canada triumphantly in my ultra-fashionable yellow kids' poncho as the cold rain fell and the wind blew! Mission accomplished!
